SAF Retreat, 29 to 31 Aug 2019 - Being Fruitful in Every Good Work (Col 1:10b)

Introduction

The mission of Calvary Pandan Senior Adult Fellowship (CPSAF) is to provide the opportunities for the spiritual feeding and growth of the senior adults in our church (those 45 years old and above). This is achieved through the exhortations from the Word of God, prayers, Bible studies and Christian fellowship.

The main theme of CPSAF is "Stablished in the Faith" taken from Col 2:7.

Objectives

As senior members of the church saved by grace through faith by the blood of the LORD Jesus Christ and being rooted and built up in Him, we seek to actively encourage and edify one another, especially our younger brethren, in our Christian walk with God.

Frequency of Meetings

The SAF Meetings are held every 3rd Saturday of the month with additional seminars on selected 5th Saturdays of the month. The meetings are held at the Main Sanctuary and commences at 5.00 pm. We conclude with a fellowship dinner.

Our Activities

Pastors, elders, preachers and outside speakers (approved by the BoE) are invited to speak on contemporary issues and challenges pertaining to practical adult Christian living. The typical meeting includes small group discussion, question and answer session, singspiration, Bible quizzes, testimonies, special items by SAF Chorus and sharing by various ministries and mission groups within the church.

CPSAF support mission work especially in Miri and Sibu, Sarawak. The mission team to Miri conducts Vacation Bible School (VBS) twice a year.

Other activities of CPSAF include fellowship outings, seminars, retreats and Bible studies.
